Patrons of all ages, including City of Warren employees, are invited to participate in the summer reading program "Adventure Begins at Your Library" from June 8 to August 10, 2024. Participants will have the opportunity to win various prizes by reading and earning virtual raffle tickets.
Prizes include Nintendo Switch Lites, a Detroit Zoo membership, LEGO sets, gift cards, themed prize baskets, and more. Children who complete the Summer Reading program will receive free books, while teens will earn scratch-off prize tickets. Adults can enter the prize drawing by reading and logging one book; each additional book read and logged provides another entry.
Interested individuals can sign up at their local branch or visit www.warrenlibrary.net starting Saturday, June 8. Early registration is available online with notifications for when to begin logging reading activities. The library also offers free eBooks and eAudiobooks accessible with a library card or virtual library card.
The Summer Reading Program is sponsored by the Friends of the Warren Public Library.
