The Warren Public Library has announced its Summer Reading Program for 2024, running from June 8 to August 10. The program invites patrons of all ages, including City of Warren employees, to participate in "Adventure Begins at Your Library!"
Participants will have the opportunity to win prizes through reading. They can earn virtual raffle tickets for a chance to win various prizes such as Nintendo Switch Lites, a Detroit Zoo membership, LEGO sets, gift cards, themed prize baskets and more. Children who complete the Summer Reading program will receive free books while teens will earn scratch-off prize tickets. Adults are also eligible for the prize drawing by reading and logging one book; each additional book read and logged counts as another entry.
Registration begins on Saturday, June 8 at local branches or online at www.warrenlibrary.net. Those eager to start can register online now and receive a notification when it's time to begin logging their reading. The library's website also offers free eBooks and eAudiobooks accessible with a library card or virtual library card.
The Summer Reading Program is sponsored by the Friends of the Warren Public Library.
