WASHINGTON, D.C. - In a show of support and recognition, Representatives John James and Debbie Dingell, along with the entire Michigan congressional delegation, have led a resolution to congratulate the University of Michigan football team on their National Championship victory over the Washington Huskies.

Rep. James, expressing his enthusiasm for the team, stated, "Go Blue and go Team 144. The 2023-2024 University of Michigan football team is the greatest team in college football history. Michigan fans know 'Those who stay will be champions,' and the seniors who chose to return for their final year of eligibility embraced it. Their commitment and dedication paid off; they got the job done. Congratulations to these amazing young men. You make us proud."

Rep. Dingell also lauded the team's achievement, emphasizing their years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. "I've always known the Michigan Wolverines are the best team in America, and now we have the perfect record, title, and trophy to prove it. This National Championship win is more than one game - it is the product of years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. This team deserves all the success they have earned, and we couldn't be prouder of how well they represent our great state. Hail to the Victors!"

It is worth noting that Rep. James received his MBA from the University of Michigan, while Rep. Dingell represents Ann Arbor in Congress.
