The city of Warren is offering free COVID-19 testing through the end of the year, according to a press release by the city of Warren's website.
The city has partnered with Wayne State University (WSU), WSU's Physician Group and the Macomb County Health Department to provide free COVID-19 testing to Warren residents.
Residents who wish to receive testing must RSVP beforehand at: https://www.cityofwarren.org/covid-19-testing-at-city-hall/ or by calling the mayor's office at 586-574-4520.
Testing will be conducted every Thursday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. through December 2020 at an outdoor drive-thru/walk-up station located at Warren City Hall in the south parking lot in front of the fountain. Holiday dates and times are subject to change; advance notice will be given. Only nasal swab testing is being offered.
Interested Warren residents are urged to text "Macomb Cares" to 483-55 to complete a pre-intake form prior to arriving at the test site. Residents who don't have a cell phone or otherwise can't complete the pre-intake form can receive assistance with the form from testing team members on the day of the test.
