City of Warren issued the following announcement on June 03.
The City is working on the CDBG-CV funding (Additional CDBG funding in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic). With this funding we anticipate assisting those in need by providing short-term working capital assistance to existing micro-enterprises (a commercial enterprise that has five or fewer employees, one or more of whom owns the enterprise) to enable the retention of jobs held by low to moderate income persons. We are also beginning to design a program to provide up to three months of emergency payments, directly to the service provider, for households whose income has been significantly affected by COVID-19 due to job loss, medical costs for COVID-19 care, or other qualifying activities.
