City of Warren- Mayor’s Office issued the following announcement on June 3.
A Message from Mayor Fouts:
There will be a protest march in honor of George Floyd late this afternoon in south Warren. Police are well prepared and we anticipate a peaceful protest march. I hope to meet with the march leaders to assure them that our police will be there to protect their right to march and protect the city against others who might prefer to distract from a march honoring Mr. Floyd into something else. This is about peaceful change not about destruction of property or people. All citizens of our country have this cherished right and we will protect that right! The city hall electric billboard will be honoring George Floyd today. I urge all Warren citizens to honor this peaceful march.
