CITY OF WARREN WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT: 2020 Census Count

Census

City of Warren Waste Water Treatment Plant issued the following announcement on April 3.

A Message from Mayor Fouts:

"Census Day was April 1 but there is still time to respond by filling out the simple questionnaire to be mailed out in about a week or two if you have not already filled it out*. This is important because each household that responds potentially generates $3,800 per year to Warren. That's a lot of dollars that go toward roads and public safety. It also helps maintain our political power in Lansing and Washington. Warren is the third largest city in the state and with that goes political power and with political power goes recognition for getting extra funding for various projects in the city including our detention basin. It also means that President Trump and other political figures are more likely to visit and help out Warren. This is non-partisan in that both parties support the census as do I. *NOTE: THE CENSUS ANSWERS ARE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL! It's only 10 questions and takes just a few minutes! We are in competition with Sterling Heights and it will be close so every response to the questionnaire helps out. Sterling Heights is favored because they have much more available land ( 20% more ). Thank You for your response!"

Remember, you can fill out your Census questionnaire online by visiting My2020Census.gov. Even if you haven't received your Census ID in the mail yet, you can complete your Census survey online by entering your home address! #CountMeInWarren
