City of Warren issued the following announcement on Feb. 14.
A wonderful Warren couple just got married for Valentine’s Day in the Mayor’s office with myself officiating.
This is another great experience that I have had the honor of doing as the Mayor of Warren. Happy Valentine’s Day to all of you and don’t forget next Valentine’s Day could be your opportunity and my honor to officiate at your wedding! See you next year!! Today was the 71st couple I have married.
P.S. It’s my honor to perform your marriage ceremony free of charge! You can’t beat the price!! The only thing is that I can’t guarantee the length of the marriage. So far all of the couples I’ve married over the years are still married!
