Today, Representative John James from Michigan's 10th district was appointed to the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Israeli Knesset, led by Speaker Kevin McCarthy. This group includes 12 members of Congress from both political parties and symbolizes a longstanding alliance between the United States and Israel.
In his statement, Rep. James emphasized the enduring relationship between the two nations: "For 75 years, America has stood with Israel. Now, Congress has joined with our counterparts in the Knesset to underscore our friendship with America’s greatest ally in the Middle East. I’m proud to count myself among Israel’s supporters—today and always."
