Consumers are advised to stop using and dispose of certain brands of ground cinnamon. These products have been found at Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, Save a Lot, and Patel Brothers in Michigan.

"There is no safe level of lead in the body for any person," officials stated, emphasizing that lead exposure is particularly harmful to babies and children. A blood test is the only definitive method to determine if someone has been exposed to lead.

For more information on blood lead testing, visit the MI Lead Safe webpage. Further details about this recall can be found at bit.ly/FDA-Cinnamon-Alert.
