The Warren Sun

Trudy Bodnar was part of the Women’s Army Corp—private first class–and is a WWII veteran. She trained in Iowa City, Iowa and was stationed at Selfridge. Trudy served from 1944-1946 and received the good conduct medal. She recently turned 100 years old in April, 2023! She still does her own financing, keeps up with politics, loves watching the Detroit Tigers, and loves eating waffles on Sundays. Trudy is active in her neighborhood and engages with her neighbors. Thank you for your service, Trudy, and thank you for making Warren your home!
