MACOMB COUNTY, MI - Congressman John James (MI-10) and Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel delivered remarks to an audience of business and community leaders from Macomb today during a “State of the Economy” event.
During the event, Rep. James made the following remarks:
“During my six months serving Michigan’s 10th Congressional District, I have worked tirelessly to strengthen our economy, support our businesses and critical industries in southeast Michigan, bolster our region’s military powerhouse at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, and defend our manufacturing jobs that support so many livelihoods in my district,” said James. “It is great to have Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel tackling these same issues at the local level so that we can partner together to strengthen our communities and make the lives of our constituents better and more prosperous. I will always put service before self, and I look forward to continuing to serve my district and our local economy.”
