John is a Korean War Veteran in his 90s but is still going strong.
He has helped us so much over the years, from mowing our front lawn to retrieving our compost bin, snow-blowing the neighborhood sidewalks, and cleaning his neighbors’ gutters of leaves. John has imparted sage advice and encouragement over the years on household repairs, drawing from his time as a machinist at Fisher Body21. He helped us get our garage door back on track when it broke last year and has done innumerable other little favors and acts of kindness for everyone who lives near him. Anyone would be blessed to have a neighbor like John. He’s always quick with a wave and a smile.
