Warren firefighters were dispatched to the area of Groesbeck and 8 Mile for reports of a commercial structure fire. First responding crews arrived to find heavy smoke coming from an abandoned Burger King.
Crews made an aggressive interior attack and were met with heavy fire conditions within the structure. A structural collapse occurred, causing crews to back out of the structure and begin defensive operations. The fire was ultimately put under control with no injuries reported. Our Fire Prevention Division is investing the cause of this fire.
