It was a groovy week in our school cafeterias as WCS celebrated National School Lunch Week (NSLW). National School Lunch Week was created in 1962 to promote the importance of a healthy school lunch in a child’s life and the impact it has inside and outside of the classroom.
This year's theme is "Peace, Love & School Lunch.” Kitchen staff members from around the district took a step back in time and dressed the part. Our leadership students from Cousino and Sterling Heights High School even helped with the decor.
