Congratulations to WCS Chief Academic Officer Dr. John Bernia for being appointed as Walled Lake Consolidated School District's new Superintendent.
Dr. Bernia started his career in WCS as the principal at Carleton Middle School and was then promoted to the district's Chief Academic Officer.
Throughout this career in the district, Dr. Bernia has always put students first. The WCS community thanks Dr. Bernia for his service to our students, staff, and families and we wish him well at Walled Lake Consolidated Schools.
