NOTICE OF REDISTRICTING
CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, MICHIGAN
MACOMB COUNTY
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that any qualified elector of the Charter Township of Chesterfield shall receive an updated Voter ID card.
As a result of the 10-year census and the subsequent redrawing of the Congressional, State Senate, State House and County Commission districts, the law required me to send out new voter identification cards. You can expect to receive your new Voter ID card soon, if you haven’t already. You do not need your new Voter ID card to vote. However, you will be asked to provide Government-issued picture identification when you go to the polls.
On Your Voter ID Card
The Qualified Voter System (QVF) for the State of Michigan may recognize the post office zip code of New Baltimore. For some residents the city/township on the printed ID cards may list either Chesterfield or New Baltimore. Both are acceptable. The ID card is provided for information purposes only, voters are still required to provide government- issued picture identification at the polls.
Please pay special attention to your new district. There were no changes to precinct numbers or polling location as a result of the redistricting
You may also check your new district number by clicking Voter Information Search
