Students put the Franciscan values of Regina into action with our annual Saddles that Serve - Day of Service. St. Francis

Petgrooming

The students put the Franciscan values of Regina into action with our annual Saddles that Serve - Day of Service. St. Francis is the patron saint of animals, so what could be more fitting than to focus on helping local rescues and shelters. Our girls made mouse toys, “Adopt Me” bandanas, feline forts, and mini blankets for kittens and puppies all to benefit the Michigan Humane Society, Macomb County Animal Control, and A ReJoyceful Animal Rescue. In addition, they donated collars, food, and toys to these shelters. We even got to meet a few of their adoptable puppies and kittens! After finishing the volunteer craft projects, we celebrated Mass as a community of faith before heading home for a restful spring break. #BelieveAndBecome
