City of Warren issued the following announcement on Sept. 15.
The third and final round of 2021 treatments will take place September 23, weather permitting, at Red Run Drain, Freedom Hill, Sterling Relief Drain, Bethesda Church, and Consumers Energy properties. Chemical treatments will target: Phragmites, reed canary grass, Japanese hops, multiflora rose, teasel, and wild parsnip.
There will also be touch-up treatments of knotweeds and thistles.
