City of Warren issued the following announcement on Sept. 7.
The third and final round of 2021 treatments will take place September 20-24, weather permitting, at Red Run Drain, Freedom Hill, Sterling Relief Drain, Bethesda Church, and Consumers Energy properties. Chemical treatments will target Phragmites, reed canary grass, Japanese hops, multiflora rose, teasel and wild parsnip. There may also be touch-up treatments of knotweeds and thistles.
