City of Warren Mayor's Office issued the following announcement on Aug. 7.
I am proud to welcome the Asian Rice Festival to Warren City Hall from 10 AM-3 PM for the second year (2019 was the first year) showcasing cultural displays, entertainment, food, and FREE PRIZES for attendees.
This event was free to the public.
Free prizes been raffled every 30 minutes for attendees. There will be cultural entertainment and displays, plus several food concession options from Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Filipino groups.
Guests been greeted with a ready-to-eat, rice-based Asian treat upon entry (while supplies last).
All ages were welcome.
The family-friendly festival is being organized by the Michigan Chapter of the US Pinoys (Filipinos) for Good Governance (USP4GG) in partnership with the city of Warren.
