Chesterfield Township issued the following announcement on July 21.
The ground has been broken, and construction is underway on Chesterfield Township's Senior Park. Safe outdoor programming is set to become a reality with this innovative growth of space.
This addition will allow those 55 and older to experience the outdoors in an area they can call their ‘own’! Phase one of this project will include concrete, fencing, entrance sign, green space and exercise equipment. A covered pavilion will be added in 2022. Keep an eye on the progress and learn more about our Senior offerings by visiting the Senior Center. This project has been made possible through the support of the Chesterfield Township Board and a competitive CDBG funding opportunity.
