On October 30, Rep. James wrote, "As a former Army pilot, I know how critical our FAA and TSA employees are to the safety of our skies.

John James was born in Detroit in 1981 and currently resides in Farmington Hills. In addition to his congressional role, he is also known for his service as an Army pilot prior to entering politics.
