The City Council has gained the authority to appoint one resident to the Election Commission following the approval of a new charter amendment on August 6, 2024. The selected appointee must be a registered voter and cannot hold any position as a city officer, city employee, or candidate for any city office.
Interested individuals are encouraged to complete an online application or contact the City Council Office at 586.258.2060 for assistance with the application process. Applications will be accepted from August 14, 2024, through August 30, 2024.
