Administration at Grissom Middle School concluded an investigation that found a student was in possession of a pair of scissors and shared with another student in the bathroom his plans to assault another student.
The student who heard this information did the right thing and immediately reported this to a teacher who alerted the administration. The response by the student and teacher was the right thing to do and a problem was avoided.
The student in possession of the scissors has been removed from school with appropriate discipline to follow. Please continue to encourage your children to share difficult information with an adult because this is an effective deterrent for students who make poor choices.
