Just after midnight morning, the district was notified by the Warren Police Department that a threat was posted on Twitter, directed at Cousino High School, Carter Middle School, and Community High School. Out of an abundance of caution, the decision was made to close these schools , including after school activities.
Despite the frustration of these senseless threats, our school safety protocols were initiated overnight, and we were able to respond accordingly this morning. Parents, I encourage you to remind your children how important it is to share difficult information with you or other responsible adults in their lives.
