Narcan Training for Opioid overdose emergencies on December 1, 2021

Macomb Community College recently issued the following announcement.

Families Against Narcotics (FAN) in partnership with Macomb County Community College offers a free in-person naloxone training session that will provide the knowledge and confidence you need to potentially save a life during an opioid overdose emergency.

During this 60-minute class, presented by a qualified instructor from FAN, you will learn:

How to recognize the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose.

How to administer Narcan (naloxone) nasal spray to potentially reverse the effects of an opioid overdose.

Other knowledge needed to fully respond to an opioid overdose emergency
