Middle School Program
Placement consideration for the middle school program consists of reviewing the students’ standardized test scores for the past several years, and teacher recommendations. In addition, students applying for this program will take the SAGES: Reasoning subtest and depending on the course they are applying for, Math/Science or English Language Arts/Social Studies test(s).
Elementary Program
Students who are being evaluated must take SAGES: Screening Assessment for Gifted Elementary and Middle School Students. That scoring will be considered along with their academic accomplishments, standardized test scores and teacher/parent recommendations.
